Hosted by the Prairie NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering, and the University of Alberta Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science.

Who is invited to attend? Female faculty in the areas of science and engineering are invited to attend this national workshop. Whether you are an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, we welcome you to seek advice, support and information that will help you strategically drive your career.

What to expect? The workshop will offer invited lectures, brainstorming sessions, networking opportunities with distinguished faculty members from across Canada, and a chance to ask mentors anything one-on-one. Topics related to achieving and sustaining a successful academic career and work-life balance, overcoming obstacles and building confidence, and developing an equitable and inclusive work environment will be covered.

What is the cost? Thanks to the generous support of the NSERC CWSE / CRSNG CFSG and University of Alberta Faculties of Science and Engineering, there is no registration cost for this event. Meals and refreshments are included for participants. 40 registrations are available on a first come, first served basis, with 20 registrations reserved for U of A participants.
